Ok I've been following Jason for a few months now and here is what I know:1. He's a successful trader, in fact he is a self made millionare2. He started out in debt, thus it is much harder to get out of the pit3. He advertises a lotNow that you know this, here are some disclaimers I'd like to put down. This book doesn't teach about swing trading. It does reference to his service but it doesn't teach you the strategies like how to scan for the stocks, when to get in or out, or how to find catalysts. To learn about that, you have to buy his service and learn as much as you can from him, as the subscriptions aren't cheap. This book is more of an inspirational book. It shows you who Jason Bond is and how he, with determination and research, builds up his wealth up to today. Since I am used to it, I dismiss the lines that seem to be advertisements for his site. JasonBondPicks.com is a big part of Jason's life thus when he mentions it, it may not be for the sake of advertising. Therefore, if you are in a tough place financially and want inspiration, read this book. Else if you want to learn about swing trading, I'd sign up for the newsletter, read tweets to see what kinds of stocks he finds, and if you can afford it, buy his service.
Highly recommend Jason Bond and his services. I have been part of it for the past year and recently added Kyle Dennis and Biotechbreakouts service. Anyone interested in educating themselves about the markets, I highly recommend subscribing. I am specifically impressed by Kyle Dennis and his biotechbreakouts. While the book is good, the authors own story of overcoming life’s challenges and setbacks to ultimately succeed is even better. I have had similar experiences, and was once part of his trading service. The author definitely has my respect as both a business man, and a person.
Jason has a wise, common sense, and brutally honest approach to this book, investing, teaching, and life in general. This is wise counsel! This book is an easy read. Sometimes redundant, but in certain situations redundant can be a necessary and important cautionary warning.
If you have always followed Bond regarding stocks this book is not necessary... most money he truly makes appears to be the income he derives from selling his brand more so than actual trading over the years I have followed him. If not familiar the book could prove inspirational that belief in yourself can pay off if you are persistant and tenacious as he was.
This book will make you stop and think about what you want in life.. There are even parts where you stop and think...wow..I've done that...even if you don't want to admit it....
