The title is very deceptive. These are just common puzzles, and nothing to do with mysteries or 'whodonits'.
Great puzzles for upper elementary and middle school. We are using some of the puzzles for claim, evidence, and reasoning in science class. The puzzles are not too easy but not too hard so the kids won't give up too quickly
I thought this was going to be mystery stories that my students needed to pick clues out and solve, really just a puzzle book.
Being 38, I feel like my mind and memory is going faster than normal. This has been very fun to keep me thinking and keeping my brain active. I usually love to play Sudoku, but wanted to switch it up a little bit. This book has been great. Hopefully it helps strengthen my brain preventing early on set Alzheimer's from affecting me (I feel like I am losing my mind/memory).
Like most Brain Games book, this one has fairly decent puzzles to solve. The title, however, is not really descriptive of what is inside. Most of the puzzles are logic puzzles rather than trying to solve a mystery.
I love the book, good brain exercise which is precisely what I was looking for.
Gave to my Mother for Christmas...got no complaints! :)
