For 23$ it’s worth the price. Yes, the batteries were tough to get it but a little muscle and a pry tool made it easier. Clearly it is what it is for the price don’t expect a 75$ model. The sound effects are really good and overall I would buy it again for 25$ but if it were forty or fifty I might hesitate a bit bc yes there are the battery issue and then mine had a small drip of glue on the stick too so maybe they can pay attention to fit and finish a bit more and it would help. Overall, thumbs up for Star Trek borgliness
Piece itself is good. For the size, I think it has a lot of detail. Unfortunately, there is a but. It's extremely difficult to get the batteries in. Think the contacts are a little too big. Was able to get one battery in but not the other. If I can't get it to go in, will exchange and see if that helps.
Very underwhelmed. The mask had superglue dripping down onto the clear post that holds it up. It dripped into the battery compartment, making it difficult to open. The book itself was fairly simplistic for such an iconic character. I was hoping for... more. Production photos, something. Would not really recommend.
Bought during the Pre-Sale period, and waited in anticipation for it’s arrival! Would have loved to check out the lights and sounds, but no matter how much effort or force I used to put in the batteries, only one would fit!Hoping that this was just single defect and ordered a replacement which I’d received in 2 day. Unfortunately it seems that QA was absent day?
Batteries got super hot, burned my wife’s hand right on Xmas eve. Lights and sound only worked once. Returning , I’m embarrased to give her this. Will be contacting amzazon for burn statues . Hope you have insurance !
